lapping the 'Ring in less than 7:45

In 2005, a Pagani Zonda S lapped the Nurburgring circuit in 7:44 flat. That car cost $500,000
In Aug 2008, the Viper ACR set the record at 7:22.1
In Jan 2009, a GTR took the ring at 7:29
in 2012 the Viper set the record at 7:12.13

The Honda Type R costs $34,775, seats four, delivers more than 46 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seat folded down, and gets 28 mpg on the highway, and lapped the 'Ring in 7:43.8 seconds

Production 4 door car... for less than 1/10th the cost of a 2005 supercar, 1/3rd the price of a Viper

Is anyone selling millionaires ridiculous cars paying attention? Just how do you talk a rich person into blowing a fortune on a Pagani, when it's not as fast as a Honda that costs 1/10th as much.

You could buy 2 Honda Type Rs, and still have enough to buy a house, and pay for race day, all for the cost of one Pagani that isn't replaceable.

Does that make you think twice?

The standard-equipment sheet is long: Honda-linked navigation with digital traffic info; 540-watt, 12-speaker audio system; support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; keyless Smart Entry and push-button start; dual-zone climate control; LED headlights, fog lights, and daytime running lights; a multi-angle rear-view camera; and a lot more. Check out the pricing of the competition — Subaru STi, Ford Focus RS, Volkswagen Golf R — and you’ll find the Honda undercuts them all, even with its superior list of standard stuff.

That's how you kick the competition's ass.
