in 1915 Edsel Ford and friends went across the country to the west coast, here are some photos he took of the journey

100 years ago, the petrified forest hadn't yet been stolen by souvenir hunters and stores that wanted to sell off America's natural wonders. I doubt there is a single stone log not protected and watched over by forest service or park rangers.
